The Original Galvin
Now in its 10th year, Bistrot de Luxe was the original restaurant opened by the Galvin brothers, this is where it all began for Chris and Jeff.
The brothers knew what they were doing. With their Michelin-starred backgrounds and over 30 years of culinary experience between them, it is no surprise that the restaurant was an overnight success, achieving both critical and customer acclaim. Over the years, Bristro de Luxe has won several prestigious awards, amongst them Best French Restaurant for two years running as well as top awards from the AA and Tatler Magazine.
The brothers certainly have a flair for sourcing the best seasonal ingredients and delivering top quality French cuisine at affordable prices – the main reason why customers keep going back for more!
Today, the Bistrot still remains much of its original ethos. Chef Patron Chris Galvin together with Head Chef, Tom Duffill offer a seasonally inspired French menu, comprising many Bistrot classics, as well as a few new dishes too!
Vibrant and informal, the restaurant is relaxed and unobtrusive with Bentwood chairs set amongst intimately spaced tables, covered in crisp white linen. Since its opening, there have been many new bistros opening around London, but few have managed to emulate this timeless classic.
