There’s a simple way to describe Lane7 - 'an acclaimed boutique bowling alley, with amazing food'. However, this does not give Lane7 justice, as it is so much more that.
Forget everything you thought you knew about bowling alleys, because Lane7 is certainly not what you expect. Forget formica tables, moulded seats and plastic hot dogs, instead image a trendy space, all cool colours, chilled bar and first class dining experience.
The atmosphere is relaxed, the perfect place to create memories with friends, it is also available for parties and corporate events!
The food at Lane7 is out of this world. You may be surprised to know that Head Chef, Chris Finnigan, trained under Raymond Blanc at Le Manoir aux Quat’Saisons in Oxfordshire, so expect classic French cooking techniques mixed into American Fayre food, with a few twists here and there to keep you on your toes!
“It’s what I describe as Man Vs Food Vs Michelin Vs Modern Vs BBQ – it’s a real combination of techniques and flavours,” said Chris, who has won acclaim for producing inventive, eye opening and stunning alternative takes on classic Americans-style favourites.
“There’s no need for good quality American style comfort food to be predictable and boring. The team in the kitchen has worked fantastically hard to produce dishes that have not only proved the doubters wrong, but has actually put a smile on the faces of so many who dine with us.”
As well as its inventive menu, you may be surprised at the tableware too, as it’s all about enhancing your dining experience rather than style, but we think it works perfectly.
“We use metal trays rather than plates, “explains Chris, “this gives you the space required to discard of the bones and to get your fingers dirty!”
