Menu of the Moment at No.6 Chef’s Table

Hearty Portions of Unpretentious, Uncomplicated Food

In 2006, Paul Ainsworth and Derek Mapp set out for a new venture, this was the amazing moment when No 6 was born. Located along Padstows’ historic Middle Street, the restaurant provides a warm, cosy and beautifully decorated dining space.

“In 2008 I made the decision to put my name above the door and with my teams loyalty, energy and passion to try and deliver the best service and food; it has made the restaurant what it is today,” said Paul.

Paul and head chef John Walton are always updating the menu at No 6, influenced by brilliant, seasonal ingredients that can be found right on their doorstep. “Our aim is to create unpretentious dishes that really get the best out of the ingredients.”

Paul Ainsworth at No 6 is renowned for its hearty portions of simple Cornish food, everything is homemade, from the bread to the chocolate truffles – accompanied by a fantastic wine list. A winning combination for regular and new diners a like.

No 6 is going from strength to strength, ranking 18 in the Top 100 Restaurants 2015. The restaurant has also proudly retained its Michelin star for three years.

Tuesday to Saturday
Lunch: 12 - 2.30pm
Dinner: 6 - 10pm
Closed Sundays and Mondays

Reservations of up to four people can be booked online. For any larger tables please contact No 6 on 01841 532093 to book over the phone.

No 6 welcomes children aged four and over – please let the restaurant know your children’s ages when stating the number of people in your party.

All bookings will be confirmed by email, which will also outline the cancellation policy, followed with a text message 24 hours before the reservation. If your booking is a surprise and you would like us to use other means of contact please don't hesitate to let us know.

Please note, tables booked at 7.45pm or earlier may be required back for a second sitting after two and a half hours. 

All cancellations or alterations require a minimum of 24 hours notice by email or telephone.
