A Taste of Italy in North Cornwall

Located in a beautiful 18th century building, just off Padstow's harbour, Rojano's in the Square has served as a restaurant to the local community for over thirty years. Today, it is a family-friendly restaurant, serving the best of Italian influenced cuisine. 

The restaurant is owned by Paul Ainsworth and headed up by Chef Director, Paul Dodd, who have worked together under Marcus Wareing at Petrus in London. 

Rojano's in the Square is passionate about two things: Italian food and Cornish produce, which is something you will see on their ever-changing menu - combining Italian favourites such as spaghetti bolognaise and making it with the best Cornish mince. The fish and fresh produce that goes into Rojano's pastas and tops of their pizzas is all sourced locally, while the artisan meats served in their Antipasti in the Square are imported from Italy and hand-sliced on the premises.  

Open 7 days a week, Rojano's is the ideal place if you are looking for a catch up over morning coffee and cakes, a spot of lunch with friends or dinner with loved ones. 

The menu is very impressive, giving you a wide choice from light bites to hearty meals - including Paul's favourites and something new to pick from the specials board! There is plenty of room in Rojano's relaxed dining room to welcome groups of up to 15 people and can seat a total of 60. Guests can also enjoy al fresco dining all year round, with a beautiful heated terrace. Well behaved dogs are also welcome.

A basket of crisp risotto squares filled with buffalo mozzarella, chopped truffle, truffle oil, mascarpone and Parmesan, served with 'angry' Arrabiata sauce

The Peasant Pot

Hot Smoked Loch Duart Salmon

We cure our salmon at Rojano's in Cornish sea salt, sugar and grappa for 3 hours. The salmon is then BBQ'd to order, to give an incredible smokiness. Served with a Caesar salad, anchovies, quail eggs and char-grilled lemon

All our ice creams and sorbets are made by the Treleavens family in Looe. Beautiful Cornish ice creams - creamy, light and full of flavour. Please ask for flavours

During lunch service, Rojano's operate a walk-in booking system, please be patient during busy times.

However, if you are a group of between 6 and 15 people looking to have lunch at Rojano's please call and to arrange a table.

For Rojano's evening service they take bookings up to six months in advance. They are able to accommodate groups of up to 15 people.
